What's included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes up to 2 clients, most recording methods (frequency, duration, latency, interval, ABC data), and offline mode. It works on iOS, Android, web, and Chromebook with no time limit.
What's included in the Solo plan?
The Solo plan is designed for one individual practitioner managing their own caseload, with no shared staff access. It includes up to 15 active clients, all 9 recording methods, ABC tracking, targets and mastery criteria, Generate Report (PDF with graphs and summaries, plus Excel and CSV exports), offline mode across iOS, Android, web, and Chromebook, and a 14-day free trial (credit card required, cancel anytime).
How do I choose between Solo and Teams?
Use Solo when it is only you. Use Teams when another person needs to collect, view, review, manage, or share the same client or student data. Client count matters, but sharing is the clearest line: one person means Solo, shared work means Teams.
How does Teams billing work?
Teams is for shared client work and uses simple volume pricing: one rate for all active clients, based on your total active count.
- 1-25: $16.99 each / month
- 26-50: $13.99 each / month
- 51+: $10.99 each / month
Example: 40 clients → 40 × $13.99 / month. Unlimited team members included; all Solo features included.
What counts as an "active client" in the Teams plan?
An active client is any client in your app with active status. You're billed based on the number of active client seats you've purchased. You can archive clients you're not actively working with to free up seats, and reactivate them when needed.
Are there any setup or cancellation fees?
No setup fees, no cancellation fees, no long-term contracts. You only pay for what you use, and you can cancel anytime.
Is there a minimum commitment for Teams plans?
Teams plans require a minimum of 3 active clients. You can add or archive clients anytime to manage your active seats above this minimum.
I'm an RBT at an agency. Can I use the Free plan on my own?
Yes. The Free plan is for your individual use, independent of your agency. Sign up with your own email, keep your personal login separate from any agency systems, and use it for your own session prep, practice, or tracking 2 personal-caseload clients. Do not share agency client data or PHI on a personal Free account.
Does TallyFlex work for settings outside traditional ABA?
Yes. TallyFlex is used across ABA therapy, DIR/Floortime, SPED classrooms, home health, adult services, and academic research. The app lets you pick the terminology that fits your setting (client or student), build custom targets and observation types, and log qualitative notes alongside structured data.
Can I use TallyFlex for academic research or a thesis study?
Yes. Researchers and doctoral candidates use TallyFlex for intervention studies and thesis work. Solo fits cohorts up to 15 active participants; Teams handles larger multi-participant studies. Data exports cleanly to Excel and CSV for analysis in R, SPSS, or other statistical tools, with PDF reports for review or meetings.
