Skill acquisition

Teach multi-step skills without losing the step data

For ABA skill acquisition, the step often matters as much as the total. TallyFlex turns each task chain into a scored session workflow, then carries prompt-level data into heat maps, mastery review, and reports.

Built for routines, chained skills, daily living skills, and any program where the step matters as much as the total.

Create a tracker and choose Task Analysis as the recording method.

2

Add observable steps, then set chaining and assessment mode.

3

Start with default scoring options like I, G, V, M, PP, FP, and NR, or customize the prompt labels for your workflow.

4

Review percent independent, heat maps, prompt distribution, and task-analysis exports.

Why it matters

Designed for data you can actually review

Score every step

Each step can be scored with the prompt level used, so the data shows where independence is emerging.

Keep sessions moving

The active-session view auto-advances after a prompt selection and lets you re-score completed steps when needed.

Review the pattern

Task-analysis reports include heat maps and prompt distribution charts for step-by-step review.

Review

See how each step changes over time

Step-by-Step Progress belongs in review, after the session data is collected. The heatmap shows the same task steps across sessions so supervisors can spot which steps are becoming independent and which still need support.

Step-by-Step Progress

14 sessions for Hand Washing. Cell color follows the prompt scored for that step.
