Target organization

Keep programs organized after the first target

A caseload rarely stays as a clean list of individual targets. TallyFlex Programs give related targets a home, so setup, session collection, and review stay connected as the work grows.

Keep related targets together, add optional phases when sequence matters, and leave standalone targets alone when hierarchy would add noise. The structure you set up carries into sessions and reporting.

Workflow

Build the structure once, then collect from it

Programs are for the moment when target organization becomes part of the work, not an afterthought.

1

Create the program around the clinical or instructional area that needs structure.

2

Add related targets directly, or organize them into phases when sequence matters.

3

Review target definitions, recording methods, and criteria before collecting data.

4

Collect from the organized program during sessions and review related targets together afterward.

Why it matters

Designed for data you can actually review

Escape flat target sprawl

Group related targets under the program they belong to instead of hunting through one long target list.

Keep session context intact

Staff collect from the same organized program structure supervisors review later.

Review before collection

Confirm target definitions, recording methods, and criteria before the program enters sessions.

ABA Programs and Target Organization questions

Do all TallyFlex programs need phases?

No. Phases are optional. A program can use Program > Phase > Target for structured progression, or it can contain targets directly.

Can teams preview the program workflow first?

Yes. The Demo Client lets practitioners explore the workflow before using programs with real clients or students.

Can standalone targets still exist outside a program?

Yes. Targets can stand alone as Skills or Behaviors when a program hierarchy would add unnecessary structure.

Keep the workflow connected

TallyFlex keeps setup, collection, review, and reporting in the same working path.
