Programs, Skills & Behaviors

Review programs and standalone targets with goal-aware trend colors and progress graphs.

3 min Updated May 6, 2026

Programs Tab

The Programs tab brings programs, standalone skills, and standalone behaviors into one list. Use it to scan what is on track, what needs attention, and what has not changed before opening the full graph.

Skills are acquisition targets you usually want to increase. Behaviors are reduction or replacement targets you often want to decrease. Programs group related targets into Program > Phase > Target when you need a structured plan. In this guide, tracker means standalone skills, standalone behaviors, and program targets when the same list behavior applies.

Filter and Sort

Use the filter buttons at the top of the tab to narrow the list:

  • All - Programs, standalone skills, and standalone behaviors
  • Skills - Standalone skill acquisition targets
  • Behaviors - Standalone behavior reduction or replacement targets
  • Programs - Program cards with phase and mastery progress

Use Sort by: Relevance when you want TallyFlex to bring the most important recent changes forward. The list uses recent change size and goal-aware status so you can quickly see what is moving in the right direction and what needs attention.

Read Trend Colors

Each tracker row can show:

  • Tracker name - The skill, behavior, or program target
  • Current value - The latest percentage, count, duration, or latency
  • Sparkline - Recent performance pattern
  • Weekly change - Change compared with the prior week

The color is based on the tracker’s Goal direction:

  • Green - Moving in the desired direction
  • Red - Moving away from the desired direction
  • Gray - No meaningful change yet

For a skill set to Increase, higher performance trends green. For a behavior or latency target set to Decrease, lower performance trends green. If the Goal direction is wrong, the list can color a target as if the wrong movement is progress.

Set Goal Direction

When you create or edit a tracker, confirm the Goal setting:

  • Increase - Use for skills or measures you want to build
  • Decrease - Use for behaviors, latency, duration, or other measures you want to reduce

Goal direction affects both trend colors and how threshold-based progress is evaluated. Set it before relying on the Programs tab for quick review.

Open the Full Graph

Tap any tracker to open its full progress view. The graph includes:

  • Session data over the selected date range
  • ABA Clinical Analysis below the graph
  • Customization options for date ranges, aggregation, and display settings

See Working with Graphs for complete details on graph customization, clinical annotations, and analysis features.

Want to organize related targets? Use Programs to group targets into a structured skill acquisition or behavior reduction plan with phases and auto-progression. You can also clone targets to other clients to reuse your setup.
