ABC Data

Use ABC Data to document what happened before, during, and after a behavior event, then review the saved observations together.

Log an ABC entry

Open a client or student profile and select ABC Data → Log ABC. On a phone, use + in the ABC Data tab. During an active session, you can also choose Log ABC from the session menu.

Check the event’s date and time, then describe:

Choose a suggestion or enter your own wording. Add Setting events, Severity, or Notes when they provide useful context, then save the entry. Logging from a session links the entry to that session; logging from a behavior tracker also carries its target context.

Review entries and patterns

In ABC Data, choose the date range you want to review. The list view groups entries by date. Select an entry to read its details or choose Edit to correct it.

When ABC Patterns is available on your plan, it summarizes settings, antecedents, behaviors, and consequences for the selected entries. Use Percent to see the distribution or Count to see the number of entries. Select a pattern row to filter the records, then inspect the events behind it.

These summaries describe the recorded events. They can support assessment hypotheses, but do not establish behavioral function on their own.

Export ABC data

Choose the date range and filters before selecting Export. On Solo and Teams, choose PDF, Excel, or CSV for ABC entries and patterns. Basic Export in the client or student gear menu includes raw ABC data in Excel or CSV on all plans.

Share exported behavior data and notes through your organization’s or district’s approved process.
